Desktop Publishing

The 'Pewter Guy knows computers (and some other stuff too...)

I offer basic Desktop Publishing services which include:

  1. Designing and printing business cards, invitations, programs, award certificates, name tags, custom maps, mailing labels, etc. I can do pretty much all of the standard desktop publishing work most people need when they think about this type of service. I use the Microsoft Office System 2003 series of applications including: Publisher 2003; Word 2003; PhotoDraw 2000, Version 2, etc. I have an extensive library of clip-art and photos, as well as a number of specialty programs. I print black and white to an HP LaserJet 2100 at 1200x1200 dpi and color to an HP DeskJet 1220c at photographic quality resolutions.
  2. For desktop publishing work I have a fee structure based on the type of work requested. Since my forte is doing small jobs, you can save money if you just want a few custom items. For example: You don't want to purchase 500 or 1000 business cards right now because you may want to make changes to your address or phone number soon. I can help! I can design your business card for a one-time fee of $20.00 and then print as few as 10 cards for 75 cents. When you want to make basic changes, the changes are only a few dollars each and then we print another batch of 10 to 100 cards at 75 cents per sheet of ten. Now isn't that a good deal!  (Please note that the largest number of cards I prefer to print at one time is 100 - but that's all most people want at one time...)
  3. As a PaperDirect Authorized Reseller I have quite a large stock of custom designed paper products on hand and can quickly acquire whatever you may need from their extensive line of specialty papers. I can design and print eye-catching, professional communications from their hundreds of exclusive, full-color designs in unique, market-smart styles. Click on this link or their logo above to visit their web site or give me a call and I'll get you one of their catalogs to browse through.
